About Us
Unlike many traditional approaches, which often rely on symptoms alone, the Brain Enhancement Center uses advanced technology—including quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG), also known as a “brain map”—to gather insights about brainwave activity. This non-invasive assessment offers a deeper look at how the brain is functioning and helps us identify patterns that may benefit from supportive, wellness-based strategies. By understanding each individual’s unique neural activity, we can recommend personalized, non-medical drug-free approaches that promote balance, focus, and cognitive well-being—without the use of medication or clinical diagnosis.
A Different Way to Understand the Brain
Most people are told to focus on what’s “wrong.”
We focus on how the brain is functioning.
When the brain becomes dysregulated, it can show up in many ways — changes in focus, mood, sleep, cognitive clarity, memory, processing speed, or the brain’s ability to adapt and recover. These experiences are often treated as isolated issues, but they are frequently connected through underlying patterns in how the brain is operating.
Rather than chasing symptoms, we look at the system.
By identifying and supporting these patterns, the brain can begin to regulate more efficiently — creating meaningful changes that extend into how you think, feel, and function in everyday life.
Baseline - Understand the Pattern
We begin by gaining a clear understanding of how your brain is functioning and what you’re experiencing in your day-to-day life.
This process includes a comprehensive intake where we explore your history, current challenges, lifestyle, and goals, along with brain mapping (qEEG) to measure how your brain’s networks are organizing, communicating, and regulating.
Together, this gives us a more complete picture of how your brain is operating as a system — not just how things feel on the surface.
From this foundation, we develop a personalized neurotherapy plan designed to support your brain in becoming more balanced, efficient, and resilient.
Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, your plan is guided by your unique patterns and evolves over time as your brain adapts.
Our goal is to create a process that is both data-informed and deeply individualized — helping your brain function in a way that supports greater clarity, stability, and ease in everyday life.
Balance - Stabilize and Regulate
Balance is where the brain begins to change.
Through advanced neurotherapy — including neurofeedback, biofeedback, and other non-invasive brain-based approaches, we support the brain in shifting toward more stable, efficient, and adaptable patterns of function.
Rather than forcing change, we work with the brain’s natural capacity for neuroplasticity. With the right input and support, the brain can begin to reorganize itself, improving how it regulates, communicates, and responds to both internal and external demands.
As these patterns become more balanced, the brain no longer has to work as hard to maintain stability. This often leads to greater clarity, emotional steadiness, improved focus, and a stronger ability to recover from stress.
Our approach is both personalized and adaptive. By working with how each brain responds over time, we are able to support meaningful shifts not only within specific areas, but across the brain as a connected system, helping create a more resilient and well-regulated foundation for everyday life.
Boost - Strengthen and Sustain
Boost is where the work becomes real.
As the brain begins to shift during the Balance phase, Boost focuses on helping those changes hold — not just in sessions, but in everyday life. This is where improved regulation, clarity, and resilience become more consistent, accessible, and integrated.
This phase deepens and stabilizes the progress already underway. We continue to refine your neurotherapy plan as needed, while also supporting how these changes translate into how you think, feel, and respond in real-world situations.
For some individuals, this may include additional supportive approaches, such as mind-body practices or integrative techniques — when appropriate. These are not required, but may be introduced to help reinforce regulation, awareness, and connection beyond the training environment.
Ultimately, Boost is about helping your brain and nervous system sustain these new patterns, so what once required effort begins to feel natural, stable, and lasting.

Floret Khosa
Co-Founder, Brain Enhancement Center
Floret Khosa brings a grounded, thoughtful presence to her work as a Partner at the Brain Enhancement Center (BEC). Her work bridges technology, human potential, and equitable access to neuroscience-informed wellness, with a focus on helping individuals strengthen cognitive resilience, emotional regulation, and overall brain performance.
With a background in computer science and more than two decades of experience working across technology, government, and nonprofit spaces, Floret brings a systems-based perspective to brain health. She is skilled at listening to complex systems, both human and organizational, and helping them move toward greater coherence. At BEC, she applies this systems awareness to the brain itself, helping translate advances in neurotechnology, brain mapping, and training protocols into practical tools that support real-world healing and performance.
Floret’s work is guided by the understanding that emotional patterns, belief systems, and nervous system regulation are deeply interconnected. She is drawn to approaches that support awareness, resilience, and self-trust, and that allow change to unfold in ways that are sustainable and respectful of each person’s lived experience.
Her career in the technology sector also shaped her understanding of how structural systems influence human outcomes. Informed by her own journey as a Black woman in leadership and technology, she has helped create and steward organizations focused on mentorship, inclusion, and capacity-building. She is passionate about cultivating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to engage fully without needing to shrink, fragment, or diminish themselves.
Today, her work is guided by a powerful revelation: some of the most advanced technologies in the world are not machines, but minds. Floret is guided by a simple principle that when people understand how their systems, whether technological, organizational, or neurological function, they gain the clarity and agency to transform their lives and the communities around them.
